Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Contributes as a member of a highly skilled team of software engineers/data scientists
- In charge of systems that collect and process data/measures/reports
- Scripting is used to automate repetitive tasks.
- Ensures that measures and metrics are in sync.
- Encourages development teams to use measures and metrics.
- Enhances data quality throughout the estate
- Measurement evolves through continuous improvement.
- Ensures that the metrics are useful to development teams.
- These are used to calculate senior management consumption measures.
- Implements solutions for widespread reporting issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven development process expertise, ideally gained from working in large company development teams
- We’re looking for people who have built things from the ground up and taken them all the way to production.
- This position requires expert level Python skills. (Usually 5+ years)
- Experience designing systems from the ground up (Be prepared to provide examples and understand the impact of those systems)
- Knowledge of Microservice Architecture would be extremely beneficial to your success in this role.
- Capability to work tactically in the short term while also thinking strategically in the long term
- Basic data science/data engineering knowledge
- Working knowledge of SQL is required.
- Understanding Graph Databases will help you succeed in this role.
- Experience with Agile SDLC methods such as Scrum, Kanban, and others.
